Actually, I was rather peeved at Ms. Rhodes when she did that. I understand her frustration with the 2000 election theft, but Nader was and remains a respected member of the Progressive movement and many people who might have voted for Kerry last year probably got put off doing so because of the constant, incessant attacks on Ralph Nader.

If we're ever going to pull together to defeat the neocons, we need to recognize that it was solely the fault of the Bushites who stole the elections, and not the fault of third party candidates looking to bring the issues that truly matter to the forefront of the campaign. Blaming Nader or any other third party candidate for the thievery of Bush & Co. or the failings of Kerry and Gore simply allows us to fall into the trap of misplacing our priorities and losing sight of both our goals and the strategies we need to win and enact real change.
